Pokwang: Not true Willie wants me out of Wowowee
MANILA, Philippines - TV host-comedienne Pokwang has denied rumors Willie Revillame wants her out of the hit popular noon time show on "Wowowee."
There are reports on the Internet claiming Revillame had asked management to fire Pokwang for supporting Liberal Party standard-bearer Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III, the chief rival of Manny Villar, who Revillame supported in the May 10 presidential race.
"Hindi po totoo na mawawala ako sa Wowowee, at in fairness kay Kuya (Willie), hindi po sa kanya nanggaling 'yan," Pokwang told "SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon."
According to Pokwang, her support for Senator Aquino has not affected her relationship with Revillame.
"Intindihin po natin na ito po ay politika, at bandang huli, kami-kami din ang magkakatulungan," Pokwang said.
Pokwang, who has been receiving a lot of negative comments on her Twitter page for supporting Aquino, has taken a break from posting messages and exchanging tweets via Twitter.
'Learn to respect each other's views'
She urged Twitter users to learn how to respect the views and opinions of others.
"Nagpapahinga lang ako para makapag-isip ang mga taong hindi nagbibigay ng karapatan sa mga kapwa nila Pilipino na mag-express ng kanilang nararamdaman," Pokwang said.
On Monday, a day after the country's first nationwide automated election, Pokwang had a hard time defending herself against her Twitter critics over her stand to support Aquino.
"Sa mga umaway sakin dahil natalo ang kandidato nila, wag ganyan ang attitude! Kulang lang kayo sa dasal! Hindi bitter ang kasagutan!" Pokwang tweeted.
The word war between Pokwang and her Twitter followers, who were obviously anti-Aquino, started after the canvassing of the presidential results began.
Early results of the presidential elections showed Aquino having a margin of more than 4 million votes over 2nd placer Joseph "Erap" Estrada. Villar was a far third.
Pokwang stressed she did not start the war on Twitter, adding that she was just trying to defend herself and her candidate.
"Hindi ako ang nagsimula ng war d2 sa twitt, maganda gising ko, sinimulan lang ng mga talunan kaya sumasagot lang ako sa karapatan ko!" Pokwang said.

duh..! wowowee is so boring and it became a not entertaining show after several issues about its hosts mushroomed, tanggalin nyo na lahat, specially ung mga bagong hosts, your show is too crowded, dami nyo pinapasweldo, di nman tumataas rating!
Get Rid of Willie
Good riddance to this stupid asshole Willie Revillame, the rudest host on TV on the face of the earth. I've been a TFC subscriber from day one but hated Wowowee because of Willie's boastfulness, arrogance, rudeness, vulgar and all the negatives in Websters. I will tune in again the moment Willie is removed. More power to ABS-CBN.

Willie Needs to Quit
Now that Villar loss his presidential bid, this only shows that Willie is a useless and expensive celebrity endorser. Same is true with Sarah and Dolphy.
What is more insulting is the fact that Villar was beaten by Erap even in Tondo and in Baseco Compound.
Willie is now in a deep shit. That's what you get for being an arrogant bastard and a fake..... in your face, ass hole!!!
Excuse my words but I believe he deserve these kind of insults.
